Title: Hochschild Cohomology and Elementary Abelian Subgroups

Abstract:

This note appears as an appendix to the paper Quillen stratification for Hochschild cohomology, by Jonathan Pakianathan and Sarah Witherspoon, which appeared in the Transactions of the American Mathematical Society. The main result of the note is a Hochschild cohomology version of the Alperin-Evens Theorem concerning varieties of modules and elementary abelian subgroups.
